Skill Build

Death Pulse: 1, 3, 5, 7
Heartstopper Aura: 10, 12, 13, 14
Sadist: 2, 4, 8, 9
Reaper's Scythe: 6, 11, 16

Death Pulse is your bread and butter skill. Heal + Damage. Heartstopper Aura is good mid game as it counters Heart and synergies with Reaper's Scythe. Sadist keeps your mana up when last hitting and denying. Reaper's Scythe = Anti tank skill and has a useful stun.

Item Build

Starting Items
Buy 2 Circlets 2 Tangoes and a GG Branch



First make your 3 Bracers, Phase Boots and buy 2 TP Scrolls. If you want you can swap Bracers for Nulls and Phase Boots for BoT. Phase Boots are the best boots because they provide you with armor and phase which will help you chase and run away. Always keep at least 1 TP on you at all times Work on getting a Shiva's now. If you are farming well get the Mystic Staff first if not get the Plate Mail once you complete your Shiva's then you will be able to almost take out an entire creep wave.

Pick ONE of these items after the core build. Pick the one your team will benefit the most from Necronomicon, Radiance and Assault Cuirass.
If your team won't benefit from any of these items don't get them.

After these items work on getting Guinsoo, Heart and Skadi

Main Strategy

Early Game
Lane in the same lane as your teams carry so you can babysit them. This will most probably be the long lane. Try to get some last hits but you should be focused on denying. You should try to let your carry get most of the last hits and you should be only taking the ones they can't get. Use Death Pulse when your carry is on average health and you can get a last hit or two with it at the same time.

If there is a kill up for grabs try to let the carry get it but if they can't you take it. A kill for the carry is way worse for the other team than a kill for you. But a kill is good regardless it is just better if you let your carry get it.

Mid Game
Counter push lanes when the other team is pushing. Use Death Pulse and then follow it up with a Shiva's.

If there are any team fights go in and fight. With Heartstopper Aura you will be nagating most of the other teams regen. Use Death Pulse and Shiva's whenever it is off cooldown. Use Reaper's Scythe to kill heroes but remember that it also has a 1.5 second stun so you can use to let your carry get a kill.

When you get ganked you have Phase to get away and you can Death Pulse walk. This is when you use Death Pulse and the animation canceling so you get healed while running away. If any heroes come without stuns you can just TP to another lane and push/counter push. Your main goal is to make sure before late game you have at least a Guinsoo so in team fights your team has another disable.

Late Game
Ok late game this is when Death Pulse will start to become weak but still use it whenever it is off cooldown. Now Heartstopper Aura will be very powerful negating the effects of Heart and on top of that still provides degen. Use Reaper's Scythe whenever it will get a kill. You should be able to pushing lanes quite quickly now so when there is a lane that is getting pushed you should be able to counter push with ease.

You want to be moving with at least one other hero from now on. Preferably one that can do some decent DPS. With Guinsoo some DPS and Reaper's Scythe it will be a sure kill.

Once you get your Heart/Skadi then they are screwed. You will also have a slow from now on and 1% hp regen per second this will make you very tanky, have disables, attack speed slow, heal and finally an instant kill at less than 40% health and if you miss judge their health then you can just attack them as it has a 1.5 second stun as well.

Hints and Tips

  • For an instant kill with Reaper's Scythe at level 1 with no +Magic Resist the enemies health must be below 23%.
  • For an instant kill with Reaper's Scythe at level 2 with no +Magic Resist the enemies health must be below 31%.
  • For an instant kill with Reaper's Scythe at level 3 with no +Magic Resist the enemies health must be below 40%.
  • Reaper's Scythe has a 1.5 second stun which can be used on fleeing heroes/cancel channeling.
  • If you can get a 25 min Radiance then you can get it and then get a Shiva's.
  • Death Pulse + Shiva's does 475 damage to creeps.
  • Sadist will still give you mana if you deny creeps.

Skill Build

AIDS: 6, 11, 16 (duhhh)

One lvl of LVL?DEATH is enough because you will be ganking at lvl 6 (where this skill is uber). If you are just going into a gank and realise that your LVL?Death is one lv away from matching consider lvling it at will. While scorched earth earlier is nice i think devour is more important because you will be doing its called farming whenever your doom is on fucking cooldown (omfg). Doom is a NO-BRAINER to lvl because lv 1 is AIDS lv 2 is worse than AIDS and lv 3 is Super AIDS.

Item Build ITS CALLED FARMING FOR JOKE CARRY DOOM
CORE

gloves haste ---->midas + persy + boots of travel
OI CHRIS INSERT PICTURES HERE

Start of with a glove of haste and a set of tangos then build hand of midas. Then make persy and boots of travel for uber ganking/its called farming.

After these items work on getting

BFURY S&Y BUFY HEART BFURY ASSAULT BFURY BFLY BFURY

Yes I am serious. But this is a joke build which sadly works in pubs. I usually go for midas (for farming), persy (later for bfury), and boots of travel (for farming). Then I upgrade the persy to a bfury and go for S&Y (with scorched earth and S&Y you get max movespeed for extra rapage). The speed (move and attack) is really what DPS doom needs. Then I consider my next item (usually only one bfury is required since you also have devour + midas for farming) so i go heart. If it gets any further you should end up with

travels bfury
S&Y heart
assault bfly

YUSSSSSSS you can now out carry void.

Item build (if you guys are really serious)
Circlets + branches + tangos ----> 2/3 bracer + persy + boots of travel

THEN

REFRESHER ORB (if you wanna give AIDS twice)
GUINSOO (if you wanna have AIDS on a sheep)
SHIVAS (if the enemy team has armor rapists like SF or slardar)
HEART (if you wanna be TANKIER THAN APRIL FOOLS ZEUS)
RADIANCE (if you can get it before you are lvl 2 and wanna be a normal non-bfury carry/tank)

These are the orthodox "Doom Bringer" items, I won't go into too much detail but these are your actual choices when playing DOTA IS SERIOUS BUSINESS games. TBH I just love pubs and find it funny how i can carry easily with this AIDS faggot.

Main Strategy
This strategy is my own, flaming me means that you are a flaming homosexual and will probably get AIDS the next time you play as Lucy. XD

Buy LOOK AT THE ITEM BUILD YOU DUMB funk (lol i swore)

Early Game
Take a dual lane WITH A RANGED HERO. Preferably a lane with a side shop but it doesn't matter too much. Devour a creep AS SOON AS ITS OFF COOLDOWN. At lower levels it doesn't matter which one but at higher lvls devour a ranged creep cause melee creeps take too long to devour and kill the point to a low cooldown. Pretty much just get your midas and take smooth farming till lv 6 (you and your enemies) when you can LVL?DEATH AIDS rape someone and guarantee a kill. Note that its worth chasing sometimes for the exp and the fact that the enemies (if smart) can deny doomed heroes. Gank whenever doom is off cooldown but spend the rest of your time farming hard so you can carry =)

Mid Game
You should've already done some major gankage by nows. Your doom is getting less powerful as a DoT and more powerful as a disable. In team fights either choose their carry or their main disablers to doom. Should have maxed Scorched Earth by now and be able to chase down any MOFO who thinks he can avoid getting buttraped by AIDS. Basically you can make their team just -1 with doom.

Late Game
The key to late game is having farmed enough during early and mid game. You can easily out carry guys whos skills actually scale to damage purely because of your homosexual items, bfury pushing, tankiness and the fact that scorched earth puts you on mega speed.

Hints and Tips

  • Devour and Hand of Midas whenever you can wherever you are
  • Participate in team gangbangs
  • PWN people when they say bfury and S&Y is for nubs (which it is)
  • RAMBO HARD
  • BLAME YOUR TEAM

First off rush a Midas. Use it on every cooldown on high leveled neutrals. Then make 2 Bracers if you need extra hp if not then don't. Make a Perseverance next so you have a solid form of health and mana regen. Boots of Travel will let you farm lanes like crazy. Turn the Perseverance into a Battle Fury so you can farm even more.

After these items work on getting

Shiva's, Refresher Orb, Guinsoo and Heart

Main Strategy

Early Game
Take a dual lane with a ranged hero if possible. Dual melee = Fail. As soon as the creeps spawn Devour a creep. Then continue to Devour creeps whenever it is off cooldown.

Once you get to level 7 Devour ranged creep cause melee creeps take too long to devour and kill

Lucifer, The Giver of Super AIDS

Introduction
Lucy is actually the most AIDS hero in the game. I commonly refer to his ultimate as AIDS as you will see. He is a truly amazing hero with great potential as a ganker, disabler and tank. However I will be using his underrated ability Devour to show you how he can be played to become a super pubstomping carry. I don't think people realise how to abuse his skills properly which to me is very sad as he is a simple hero.

Pros
He has ridiculous farming
He has ridiculous MS with scorched Earth
He has the most powerful single target DoT
He has the most powerful single target Silence
He has the most powerful single target ulti
Awesome strength
He can give AIDS

Cons
Relatively low mana pool for 4 active spells
He has AIDS
He's melee
Relies on a massive cooldown ulti
Almost the worst agi in the game
He's really single target
His ulti can only hit one guy
Have I mentioned he's single target?

Storytimeeee
Lucifer was the leader of the Doomguard attack force of the burning legion in the first attack by the dark lord Sargeras. With his original master long gone, Lucifer grants his undying loyalty to the Scourge to finish what his lord once started. Devouring the insignificant for his greed while dissipating the souls of those brave and strong enough to withstand his strength and the heat of his fiery haven of burning earth, Lucifer takes no prisoners and makes sure those who persevere through his wrath die by the agonizing and burning pain of Doom itself.

Stats
Strength: 26 + 3.2
Agility: 11 + 0.9
Intelligence: 16 + 2.1
Movespeed: 300
Base Damage: 27-43 (53-69)
Range: Melee (150 not 100 though because of his size)

Devour
This is a mofo of a skill. When you upgrade it you get an extra 10 gold for every level and a lower mana cost. The important thing is the cooldown though. I think it is the most important early game skill to level because the others only help you in mid game. It is one of the best farming skills in the game because it works all game and has recently been upgraded to have a 300 cast range (woo).

Scorched Earth
This is odd. Its a massive AS/MS boost on Lucy. I use it mainly as a chasing spell or when I'm getting away or just moving around in general. The regen really isn't noticeable but you can pull creeps with it which is a pretty funky trick.

LVL?DEATH
This is a weird skill. At the right lv it is one of the most powerful nukes. Lowish cd and mana cost. However I think it only warrants one level because lv 6 is extremely important when you have doom. Plus without the specified lv you are only adding 50 spell damage.

AIDS
This skill is basically what defines Lucy. Since it has a massive cooldown you will have to use it wisely, AKA when you know you will get a kill or it will win a team fight. Late game use it more for the silence, don't rely on damage. Note that it is the only silence that stops items as well (eat that tinker). It deals spell damage so overall

HIV = 360 damage and 12 sec silence
AIDS = 630 damage and 14 sec silence
SUPER AIDS = 960 damage and 16 sec silence

Other stuff
Devour cannot be used or leveled while devouring a creep
LVL?DEATH comes in 2 parts (one for normal and one for lvl damage if any)
LVL?DEATH has a ministun
Heroes with AIDS can be denied
Linken's is a condom, spell immunity is not

How to give people AIDS
In real life there are many ways to give someone AIDS. There is the needle, bad blood transplant and anal sex. There are others but in DotA there is only one way. First go all the way over to the AIDS hotkey (yes it is a stretch) D and click on the hero. While this isn't hard to do you need to make sure of 2 things. Before you try to give the hero AIDS make sure he doesn't have a linken's up. It blocks AIDS just like a condom. To get rid of it use LVL?DEATH on him first or something.

With this build the main skill you will be using are Cold Snap (QQQ), Ghost Walk (QQW), Ice Wall (QQE), Tornado (QWW) and finally Deafening Blast (QWE)
Cold Snap is to be used when you have heroes with fast attack speed on your team or when you are ganking somebody because the mini stun stops them from TPing out and it will slow them down, Ghost Walk will provide your team with a very powerful slow in team fights after you have cast all your spells, Ice Wall will provide your team with a 140% slow for 12 seconds if well placed, Tornado will be used for its useful 2.2 second disable which can be used to setup ganks, help allies get away and for scouting lanes you are pushing for incoming ganks, Deafening Blast isn't used for its damage in this build it is used for its insane anti DPS effects. A 4 second Attack Prevention and the knockback isn't only a 1.75 seconds disable it is also cancels channeling.

EMP will do decent damage, up to a 400 mana burn, Chaos Meteor is your most powerful skill for damage, and on top of that it has very nice range (1410), Sun Strike will be your finishing skill to snipe fleeing targets as it has global range and you can use it even if you haven't explored the area you are targeting, Deafening Blast will be used for its decent damage and knockback which synergies with Chaos Meteor, Alacrity will be used late game on your carry to give them MEGA STEROIDS.

Sun Strike will be your main damaging and finishing skill as it has global range and you can use it even if you haven't explored the area you are targeting, Chaos Meteor will be used to hurt heroes and push lanes with ease, EMP will be easy to aim with Chaos Meteor because if you place it away from the path they will have to either get hit by Chaos Meteor, EMP or even both.

Main Strategy

[indent]Early Game
Lane in (Sent bot or Scourge top) the long lane with a RANGED hero preferably a babysitter like Warlock. Try to get as many last hits as possible and try to deny when possible. Your ranged laning partner should be protecting you most of the time and can heal most of the damage you take anyway don't forget you also have 6 Tango charges.

If there is a kill up for grabs take it don't worry if your lane partner bitches about it you are the carry so you are the one who should be getting the kills and getting kills early game really really helps.

Mid Game
Do its called farming whenever you can until you get your Armlet and MoM if you see a bunch of enemy heroes coming Time Walk out and run. As soon as you have both your Armlet and MoM go find a lone hero turn on Armlet Time Walk in chuck up a Chrono and active MoM. They will be dead that quickly. On top of that once you have your MoM and started making your Armlet you can Jungle quite easily. From now whenever you see a lone hero who you can take go kill them.

If there are any team fights don't be afraid to go in and fight Time Walk in and use Chrono to take out their carry. If you can try to position your Chrono so that your ranged heroes if you have any can still attack.

Make sure you DON'T DIE. Ok you can die just try not to. You have Time Walk and as a last resort you can use Chrono if you need to get away it is very important that you die as little as possible because for three reasons. One dying is bad you lose gold and it delays you from getting items and you can't get gold while you are dead. Two from now on the items you will get will be in big chunks eg. Eaglehorn and will cost quite a bit of money so you can't afford to die and finally if you are dead you can't go around killing people.

Late Game
Ok good for you you make it to Late Game. By now you should have ALL your core items I would hope and at least one of the following The Butterfly, Heart and Buriza get them in that order. This is when all the team fights will be happening non stop so stop farming and help. If you see the other teams carry KILL THEM so they won't stand a chance in team fights. In the team fights wait till you can get all of the enemy heroes in a Chrono at once then focus their carry. With no carry they are boned.

If there are any lone heroes who think its safe to farm go Time Walk up to them and show them a lesson

Once you get your Heart it should be game over for them because with a Heart you will actually get more than 1500 HP and with The Butterfly evasion and your Backtrack evasion you should be very hard to kill.

Hints and Tips

  • While building up for your Armlet and MoM make HotD and don't split it until you can get them both you will need 2950 gold to afford them both.
  • Make sure you dominate a creep as soon as you make HotD because if it is on cd if can't be split.
  • Dominated creeps can attack in Chrono
  • Ranged attacks can go through Chrono as long as the hero isn't inside
  • Using a dominated creep can be very useful as some have skills like stun and ensnare which will help you get kills and some creeps have auras that and will help you jungle
